The Tennessee Volunteers are ranked #18 in the preseason AP and coaches polls. The Vols lost quarterback Erik Ainge but are returning leading rusher Arian Foster. The Vols are looking to have another strong season under coach Phillip Fulmer if they defense is able to get some pressure on opposing quarterbacks this season.
Other key losses on defense include linebacker Jared Mayo, who many think may be the NFL's defensive rookie of the year. Tennessee kicks off their season on September 1st versus UCLA.
